AI and machine learning
Train, evaluate and ship AI models.
Your running project
Forecast a small shop's demand
- The need
- Know what to order next week, and say when the model is wrong.
- The data
- A public sales history, or one from a shop that agrees.
- External tools
- Pythonscikit-learnJupyterGitHub
Workshop
Establish the needs
Who uses it, what problem it solves, how to tell it worked.
What you will learn
- Python, useful maths and data preparation
- Supervised learning, evaluation and bias
- Applications and agents built on language models
- Deploying and monitoring models
Certifications to aim for at the end
- Entry levelMicrosoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-901)MicrosoftExam available in French.
- IntermediateMicrosoft Certified: Azure AI Apps and Agents Developer Associate (AI-103)MicrosoftExam available in French.
- AdvancedProfessional Machine Learning EngineerGoogle CloudEnglish or Japanese.
These certifications are issued by their own bodies, not by Nangmo, and their exams are paid for with them. Checked on 3 November 2026: confirm the language, price and exam location on their site before registering. These exams are generally taken without AI: you will need to read and reason on your own.
How to start a career in this field
- 1Start with our Python, data and AI course, open on sign-up.
- 2Complete two projects on local problems, with measured results and their limits.
- 3Deploy a model behind an API: that is what makes an application stand out.
- 4Take AI-901, then apply as a junior ML engineer or AI application developer.
First jobs to aim for
- Junior ML engineer
- AI application developer
- Junior data scientist
