Nangmo Academy & Technology
What we keep
- Your account: name, email, profile photo, creation and last sign-in dates.
- Your courses: enrolments, progress, answers, exercises, projects, questions and badges.
- Your requests and comments.
- Your tools: CV, career assessment, letters, applications, study plans.
- A log of your key actions: account created, lesson finished, request sent, question asked, project submitted, exam finished, CV exported.
What we count without identifying you
- Daily totals: page views, videos started, links clicked, search terms, device, language and referring site.
- These totals are not linked to any account. If your browser asks not to be tracked, nothing is counted.
Why
- To run your courses and tools, answer your requests and support you.
- To understand how the site is used and improve its features.
Who has access
- You, for your own data.
- The Nangmo admin team, who can view and download account data. Your CV and career tools only become available to them after you confirm the notice shown in your space.
- Your mentor, for your progress in the courses they follow.
- Anyone with the link to your badge, for the information on that badge. Your name and published comments are visible to everyone.
The services we use
- Google Firebase: hosting, accounts and database.
- Anthropic: the AI tutor and interview simulations, which receive the messages you write there.
- Resend: sending notification emails.
- YouTube: some embedded videos.
Retention and rights
- Your data is kept for as long as your account exists.
- You can ask to access, correct or download your data, or to delete your account, by writing to us.
- When an account is deleted, your questions stay without your name; your comments and badges can be removed on request.
